Did you know that the cost of training a Friar is R$600 per month, on average? Did you know that for a Friar to become a priest, he studies for an average of nine years? Did you know that he completes two university degrees, one in philosophy and the other in theology?

In general, the formation of a Friar involves several stages: aspirancy (3 months); postulancy (9 months); novitiate (1 year); degree in philosophy (3 years); theology (4 years) – all within a daily routine of study, prayer, and internal work.
